KeepVid

So, many man hours have gone into many websites to STOP a user from downloading videos to their hard drive. As it ussualy was my favorite past time, to figure out how to download a video from a website.

We'll I guess I have to find a new favorite past time, since www.KEEPVID.com took out all the fun of trying to download videos, since now its EASY AS 1,2,3 and a bit of 5, 6, 7.

Find the URL of any of your favorite videos at your favorite website. There must be over 20 Video Website listed on KEEPVID.

No matter what format, including Google Videos, which is a FLV, and then paste the URL into the KEEPVID.com DOWNLOAD WINDOW, and presto it will give you different options of downloading the video.

Copyright Law……Keep reading the fine print!

So your a photographer, videographer, film maker, or some type of artist working for yourself. You figure, that since you create your own art or author your own book, you automatically own the copyright. You sure do. However based on taking a infringer to court, you must copyright you work with the Federal Copyright Office. The problem, is that even if you do this, you still need to pay a Copyright Attorney BIG money to defend your case. Sorry, small claims will not help you with a Copyright case, based on the fact is out of their jurisdictions, since its a Federal Law.

There are plenty of links below relating to copyright laws, but the best information I found was in a book called Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal published in 2002. which includes a section written by Lawrence Lessig, a of Law at Stanford Law School best descibes how copyright property laws have changed as well as society, throughout the history of technology and innovation.

So, to save time, reading Professor Lawrence Lessig outlook on copyright issues is worth 10 minutes of your time, compared to clicking and reading all the bookmarks below. But if you still want to read the fine print, I found alot of great links below.

New type of virtual law

The Chinese gamer claimed to have spent two years and more than US$1,200 playing the game and purchasing the virtual arsenal.

However, the gaming company claimed the virtual properties were simply “piles of data” that had no real-world value.

How do I apply for Civil Rights?

I am not going into details right now, but basically I have a multiple legal issues that I must defend, only to prove to myself that I actually have Civil Rights in the United States.

Above is just a sample of legal matters I was reading about to day, and this is just the tip of the iceberg in the relationship to the rest of the information I must gather.

CCTV manufactures and resellers need to think again?

The Secuirty DVR “Digital Video Recorder” Industry, including manufactures and resellers need to think again?

First of all, what makes a DVR Secure enough to be even considered a product for the secuirty industry? What stops anyone from unplugging a DVR or unplugging the video connections behind the DVR, so a camera will not record.
If you do unplug it, how long does it take a manager or owner to relize it was unplugged. Ya, of course you can add a bell and a whisle to go off when it is unplugged, but then again, you can unplug that as well.

A while back I created a special plastic brackets that keep the AC plug, connected to the back of a Shuttle SB61g2. Watch Video

I hade about 50 of these plastic AC Plug, custom made from my Uncle Tommy. SInce I can remember, Uncle Tomy took me in his basement as a little boy, and I watched him make wigits for other companies out of plastic. So, when I came up with the concept, the first person I called was Uncle Tommy.

Currently these have been deployed with every Shuttle SVR at over 30 McDonald’s Restaurant’s in the San Francisco Bay Area. (Video Map)

This is a whole new MAP approach I am working on for a central monitoring solution intergrated with a Interactive Earth, thanks to Google Interactive Map

Another project I have been working on is taking log files from all 30 of these SVR and create a online
graphical information based on the log files. (Log Video)
